What’s New
A Message from the President: Aloha!
As always, I hope this letter finds you and your loved ones safe and well! And always a heartfelt thank you for your kind and supportive letters and gifts to HEA.
Apply by Nov. 30 for 2021 Teaching As A Career (TAAC) Club Grants
The Hawaii Education Association will once again award a $200 HEA/Pi Lambda Theta-Beta Zeta Hawaii Chapter subsidy to interested TAAC Clubs or CTE Education Pathway in the State of Hawaii public schools.
What Will Be the New Normal?
In the one hundred years of HEA’s existence, there have never been two school years like the past two. Schools will never be the same. Thank goodness! And that will be a good thing if we do it right.
Members in Memoriam
As 2021 comes to a close, we take a moment to remember the members who have passed this year. Many of our successes are due to dedicated lifetime educators who championed effective teaching and excellence in education.
Welcome to Our New Members!
Aloha to our newest members! By joining this community, they’ll have the opportunity to engage, support and share ideas with colleagues across the state who are also passionate about effective teaching.
Hawaii Education Association to inspire and uplift educators through new program
Jodie Cheff, Interim Principal at Waialae Elementary Public Charter School, is a guest speaker at the upcoming Educator Connection event and talks about how school-wide innovation encouraged COVID-19 safety and student engagement during the pandemic.
