Teaching As A Career (TAAC) Club Grants Available

August 11, 2023

The Hawaii Education Association (HEA), in partnership with Pi Lambda Theta-Beta Zeta Hawaii Chapter, is proud to continue its support for the next generation of educators by offering $200 grants to Teaching As A Career (TAAC) Clubs or Hawaii public schools that participate in the CTE Education Pathways.

“We know that every dollar helps clubs and schools with developing and implementing programs to encourage high school students to pursue a teaching career,” said Jacqueline Yanagi, chair of HEA’s TAAC Committee. “We’re glad to give the support schools need to cultivate Hawaii’s future educators.”

Deadline to apply for the grants is November 30, 2023. For more information and application forms, contact the HEA at
(808) 949-6657. Neighbor island residents may call toll-free at (866) 653-9372.
