The Hawaii Education Association (HEA) has been committed to the advancement of education in Hawaii since 1921. HEA continuously advocates for teaching as a profession, encourages our community to recognize the important role educators play in shaping Hawaii’s future, and provides support to both current and future educators through scholarships and professional development. HEA’s goals are to ensure that Hawaii’s educators are recognized as true heroes and to provide educators with the knowledge and resources necessary to have the greatest impact on Hawaii’s youth and future.
