HEA/HSTA-Retired Susan Hagiwara Special Education Teacher Micro Grant
The Hawaii Education Association/Hawaii State Teachers Association-Retired is offering grants up to $500 each that will be deducted by priority applications until the $8,000 threshold is attained to the following who are:
- Special Education teachers, general education teachers, librarians, counselors-anyone who works with special education students and would like to work on a project with special education students;
- Employee of Hawaii State Department of Education;
- Member of Bargaining Unit 5;
- Member of HSTA; and
- Member of HEA.
Selection will be based on the following information:
- Completed HEA/HSTA-Retired Susan Hagiwara Special Education Teacher Micro Grant Form, including project plan and what they plan to accomplished with the funds.
- Administrator’s Verification from Principal or Vice Principal.
