Help Our Maui HEA Members and Others on Maui!

August 29, 2023

The Hawaii Education Association is continuing to monitor and assess how we can be of help to those on Maui following the wildfires. HEA has more than 80 members on Maui; eight of them are educators in Lahaina and seven are in Kula. We know the devastation has been overwhelming and there are many others in need. We are asking HEA members to do what they can to support the Maui community.

Please kokua by giving to any of the following credible nonprofit organizations. Mahalo!

Share your story with us! Our teachers are a great source of encouragement, inspiration and positive life transformations. Many of us have had a teacher who has made a major impact on our lives or helped us to simply do better.

HEA wants to showcase testimonials about amazing teachers to highlight the importance of our local educators. These stories will be featured throughout our website, newsletter and social media in 2021 as part of HEA’s 100th anniversary celebration.
