The HEA Executive Committee for FY 2022-23 consists of board members Pilialoha Lee Loy, Jonathon Medeiros, and Immediate Past President June Motokawa in addition to the above named officers.

 

Incoming President Spotlight

Joan Lewis currently serves as an Instructional Coach at Kapolei High School. She has worked at the school, district, state and national levels in support of quality public education/educators for all students. Joan possesses a B.S. Ed from Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa, and a MEd in Middle Level Education from the University of Hawai’i at Manoa. Her familiarity and understanding of HEA’s purpose is strong as she has served on the HEA Board for 11 years, been involved in various HEA committees, and originally joined the association 14 years ago.
