Artificial Intelligence Sessions for Hawaii’s Independent Schools

Keep pace with the rapidly changing artificial intelligence landscape!  Back by popular demand, Frederick Lane is offering new AI courses for Hawaii educators, with flexible scheduling to accomodate your school’s needs.

Course 1

A Four-Module Introduction to AI for Classroom Instructors and Administrators
Equip your faculty with the tools to navigate the rapidly evolving world of artificical intelligence.  This comprehsive four-module course provides classroom instructors and administrators with a solid foundation in AI technologies, focusing on practical applications, ethical considerations, and strategies for integrating AI into teaching and school policy.

A One-Hour Virtual Session on AI for Individual Teachers

A Two-Hour Virtual Session on AI for School Faculty
Prepare your faculty for the future of education with this two-hour virtual session that explores the basics of artificial intelligence and its classroom implications.  Tailored for groups of school faculty, this interactive workshop provides practical insights into AI technologies, ethical considerations, and strategies for incorporating AI into teaching  This session helps educators enhance learning while protecting student integrity.

 

Course 4

Two Two-Hour Virtual Sessions on AI and Policty Development
Empower your school wih in-depth knowledge of artificial intelligence through two interactive virtual two-hour sessions, tailored for your faculty.  Session one covers the fundamentals of AI and its implications for teaching, while session two delves into crafting best practices and policies for responsible AI use.  Prepare your team to lead in the AI-driven education landscape!

 


About Our Facilitator

Frederick Lane is a veteran educator, attorney, award-winning author, and nationally recognized authority on education technology and ethics.  He will guide participants through the challenges and opportunities of AI in education and technology ethics.  He is the co-founder of The Center for Cyberethics and is nationally recognized for his expertise on cybersafety, digital misconduct, personal privacy, and other topics intersecting law, technology, and society.
