HEA Scholarships Available for Students and Educators

November 16, 2023

Educators today are tasked with an incredible list of responsibilities. They must not only be subject matter experts who are well versed in a number of subjects, but also mentors who inspire the next generation.

Educators nurture a healthy curiosity and stir in their students dreams for the future they may have thought were not impossible to achieve. They harness technology to help create meaningful, memorable experiences that promote lifelong learning. Educators believe in their students even though the students themselves may not.

The Hawaii Education Association recognizes that these seemingly magical moments occur every day in schools across our state, and we want to encourage more of it. That’s why the HEA is committed to providing more scholarships next year.

Different Scholarships

Whether you’re a high school senior planning to pursue teaching as a career or a veteran educator who would like to take advantage of professional development opportunities to expand your skills and share your knowledge with other educators, HEA can help.

Please visit the HEA website after February 1, 2024 and click on the Scholarships tab to learn more about our different scholarship opportunities and submit your application online by April 3, 2024.

HEA wants to showcase testimonials about amazing teachers to highlight the importance of our local educators. These stories will be featured throughout our website, newsletter and social media in 2021 as part of HEA’s 100th anniversary celebration.
