New and Re-Elected Board Members

May 12, 2026

Congratulations to Pilialoha Lee Loy, Wilbur Luna, and Meredith Maeda who were re-elected to serve on the HEA board of  directors for another term.

Congratulations are also due to Christopher Lewis who was appointed to the HEA board. Chris is completing his 10th year as a health teacher at Kapolei High School. Although he earned his bachelor’s degree in education in 1980, Chris spent most of his  professional career as a Recreation Director for both the City & County of Honolulu and different community associations.

Chris is a strong believer in the connection between action and learning and he is excited to bring his knowledge and experience to HEA and looks forward to working with everyone in support of HEA’s vision and mission.
